Two days of fun disc golf tournament in the beautiful Queenstown Gardens course.
The 24th Annual The Helicopter Line Queenstown Classic Disc Golf Tournament will take place in the stunning Queenstown Gardens, on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd March 2019..
This will be a 4 round Singles Tournament, played over 2 days on the 18 hole Queenstown Gardens course (2 x 18 hole rounds Saturday, 2 x 18 holes Sunday), with Saturdays rounds only being unseeded, followed by a Fantastic four round of 6 holes for the top 4 players. There will be excellent trophies and lots of great prizes in 8 divisions.

Open, Open Women, Master, Master Women, Grandmaster, Senior Grandmaster, Under 18 and Recreational (must not have played any other NZDG sanctioned tournament).
– Normal PDGA rules apply during the tournament, and local rules will be announced at the online players meeting.
**IMPORTANT** – Recreation division is not part of the NZDG tour. Sanctioning and tour points not available in this division.

9.00 am Card collection from the rotunda, Queenstown Gardens
9.30am Tournament welcome and quick notices
10.00am QT Classic round 1 – 18 x holes (random draw)
12.45 pm Lunch and side games (provided)
2.15pm QT Classic round 2 – 18 x holes (random draw)
8.00pm groups and starting holes for round 3 announced via QDGC Facebook page
6.00pm Social gathering at Smiths craft beer house.
Sunday 3rd March
8.30am Card collection (from the Rotunda)
9.00 am QT Classic round 3 – 18 x holes (seeded)
12.00am Lunch (provided)
12.45pm QT Classic round 4 – 18 x holes (seeded)
3.00pm Fantastic four – Top 4 players overall play 6 extra holes
4.15pm prizegiving
All efforts will be made to keep this tournament to schedule.

The Race Is On!
The Queenstown disc golf club is proud to be hosting its 5th Discraft Ace Race.
Each year, disc golfers from around the world gather at their local courses for one purpose: to throw aces! No putting, no approaching… just runnin’ at the chains.

Because of shipping restrictions, registration will close ONE MONTH prior to the event. Registration closes 22nd August 2018.
The winner of this years Discraft Ace Race will win a sweet Discraft bag full of discs. And a very unique Ace Race trophy disc. Last year we had over 50 entrants. Let’s see if we can top that.
