The 25th Annual The Helicopter Line Queenstown Classic Disc Golf Tournament will take place in the stunning Queenstown Gardens, two rounds of Doubles Tournament on Friday 25th, followed by four rounds of Singles Tournament and Fantastic Four finals on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September 2020..

Kia Ora Huckers of New Zealand! 2020 is upon us, and with it comes a disc golf event you won’t want to miss! The 25th Annual Queenstown Classic Disc Golf tournament is nearly here. Not only is this event a celebration of 25 years of Queenstown Classic disc golf tournaments, but also Queenstown plays host to the South Island Championships! So slip on your fanciest socks, spit shine those drivers and prepare yourself for a weekend of unforgettable Disc Golf.

The 25th Queenstown Classic Disc Golf Tournament will take place in the stunning Queenstown Gardens, on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of September 2020. There will also be a 2 round doubles tournament held on Friday, 25th of September.

The Singles Tournament (26-27th September) will be played over 2 days on a specially created 25 hole course upon the Queenstown Gardens course (2 x 25 hole rounds Saturday, 2 x 25 holes Sunday), with Saturday’s rounds only being unseeded. There will also be a Fantastic Four round of 6 holes for the top 4 players. As always, there will be awesome prizes up for grabs, games, clinics, and multiple divisions of entry.

All divisions – $70 ($65 for current QDGC members)
Recreational – $65

$15 discount applies to early bird pre-registration i.e. $55 (or $50 for Recreational), cut-off 7.00pm Sunday 20th September. A further $5 discount applies to registered and current Queenstown Disc Golf Club members i.e. $50.

THIS EVENT WILL BE CAPPED AT 100 PLAYERS
This event is expected to fully book out with pre-registrations. However, should this not be the case, you can register on the day at the tournament HQ at 8am.
If needed, there will be a waiting list set up in the occurrence that the tournament is full, and there may be a possibility of withdrawals. *If you do withdraw from the event, you will be given a full refund, and your player pack will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

Note: Normal PDGA rules apply during the tournament, and local rules will be announced at the online players meeting.

**Players meeting is MANDATORY to watch. Course rules will be announced here.

**IMPORTANT** – Recreational division is not part of the NZDG tour. This division is for players who have not played in a NZ tour event. Sanctioning and tour points not available in this division.

5:30pm Clinic #2 – Distance Driving competition. Meet at Warren Park
7:30pm Dinner, drinks and festivities at Smiths Craft Beer House

8.30am QT Classic round 3 – 25 x holes (seeded by overall score)
11.30pm Lunch (provided)
11:45 Clinic 3 – Putting, presented by Kyle Martin. Meet at Basket no. 1
12.30pm QT Classic round 4 – 25 x holes (seeded by overall score)
4:00pm Fantastic four – Top 4 players overall play 6 extra holes
5:00pm Prizegiving

Note: Doubles play is a separate tournament event, played in supplement to the 25th Queenstown Classic. Players will submit their own teams, and prize giving for doubles winners will be conducted as a separate celebration. There will be no lunches provided on the Friday doubles event.

All efforts will be made to keep this tournament to schedule.
